Annecy

Annecy is one of the oldest and most beautiful towns in the whole of the French/Swiss alpine region. The landscape is serene, painted by the vivid blue, green and white colors of the clear water, forests and snow.

My hubby and I took a drive across the border from Geneva to visit this wonderful town, often referred to as the ‘Venice’ of France owing to its similar canal architecture. Highly recommend anyone who is in the area to pay it a visit. It truly is gorgeous.

The city is planned for cycling, roller-blading, walking for miles along paths following streams. You can also take a boat cruise around Lake Annecy and witness all its beauty. There are also many delicious restaurants along the canals and interesting medieval towns to explore.

I’m giving my Isabel Marant Barbie a real work out and it is proving to be one of my best purchases ever. It is so comfortable and is great for walking on cobble stone streets as the soles are so cushiony. I’ve also worn them in the rain and they are still in one piece!
