Just to break up the Iceland posts, I thought I’ll post something different – a new pair of sandals I purchased for Summer in Australia.
My two favourite travel companions hands down are my Balenciaga City Bag and Isabel Marant Bobby Sneakers. They are probably the best value for money items I’ve bought in terms of cost per wear, having worn them all over Europe during my honeymoon and also my recent trip to the Baltic and Iceland. Definitely money well spent.
Ah the striped tee. The staple diet, the go-to piece and the when-all-else-fails choice. I can’t stress the importance of packing a casual striped tee when going on holidays. It is one of the most versatile items you can pack in your suitcase and looks awesome with blue jeans or shorts.
I’m not sure if any of you have watched the American series of The Bachelor – you know, the one with Sean and Catherine. Omggg Catherine is soooo pweetttyyy. Ok. Sorry. I’m a bit of a sucker for The Bachelor. Anyways, the beautiful couple decided to get married and have their wedding aired on TV. And me, of course, being the sucker that I am watched the whole thing. Don’t judge.
Catherine told her wedding planner that she wanted the theme of her wedding to be “Grown Sexy”. I thought to myself what a great phrase. Grown Sexy. So what does grown sexy really mean? Well, it apparently means sophisticated sexiness. “I” can definitely do with some grown sexy in my life.
As mentioned in my previous post, J went to Hong Kong for a week for one of his best friend’s bucks. Maybe he felt guilty leaving me here by myself, because he came back with a BIG surprise! During our honeymoon in Europe, I probably visited every single Celine store from Paris to Geneva trying to find a Celine bag that I liked. I went from a Trapeze to the Luggage and then to the Phantom. I just did not have any luck. Either the leather was not right or the colour combination was not right. I decided that Celine was just not meant to be. THIS Celine was picked by J. Frankly, I’m quite impressed! I probably wouldn’t have picked this bag myself as all I ever buy is BLACK BLACK and more BLACK! I suppose grey is close enough! The poor dude has probably gone bag shopping with me so much now that he actually has a clue as to what I like! Oh dear!
