Percy’s Aeroplane – 96 Denmark Street, KEW.
Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day but as I almost always max out on my sleep in the morning I rarely have enough time to eat breakfast, much less make a yummy one. So J and I often go out for breakkie on the weekends. My BIL and SIL (brother and sister in law) recently moved to Kew, so we decided to hang at Percy’s Aeroplane cafe. The owner of Percy’s, Wes, is one of my old friends from Uni. Even back then he always had the drive to open up his own cafe. However let me just say, having the drive and ambition to own your own business is one thing, but it’s another to actually make it happen. As I am not an entrepreneur myself, I can only ‘imagine’ the amount of hard work and crazy hours that running a business takes, not to mention the constant river of thoughts that would flow through your mind thinking about how your business can grow and succeed. I am genuinely proud that he has been able to make it happen and not only that has achieved a 92% rating on Urbanspoon. I’m not going to talk about how amazing the food is as you will just have to try it for yourself.
