I’ve known Chrissy and Jason since forever and no words can express how happy and elated I am that these two decided to tie the knot at one of the most beautiful gardens in Melbourne, Rippon Lea. I met Chrissy in university whilst studying Business Systems. That was definitely a loonnnggg time ago. Christina and I are as different as two people can get. She was the party animal whilst I was the nerd. She has an easy going fun loving personality whilst I’m the control freak. Yet, our friendship flourished and it just grew deeper over the years. I’m so truly happy that Chrissy has found her one true love , Jason, as together they make the most beautiful couple.
Rippon Lea is probably one of the most beautiful gardens in Melbourne to have a wedding. The grounds are extremely well manicured and although not big, there are so many different backdrops to take beautiful photos. Words really can’t describe how beautiful this garden is. You just have to see it for yourself.
Centrepiece by Centre of Attention.
Our girly group finally reunited.
With the gorgeous bride.
Silks catering ensured our tummies were full all night.
Totally scheming. These girls were definitely up to no good.
The father of the bride’s speech was definitely one of the highlights of the night.
Yes. They are my friends.
Tienny photo bombing.
The couple’s first dance.
Suetie pie caught the bouquet.
Go go Power Rangers!
The reception was held at the Rippon Lea House. Although 170 people attended the wedding, it still felt warm and intimate. The centrepieces were gorgeous and the drapes and fairy lights at the dance floor added just the right amount of romance to the night. The whole room had an old hollywood glamour feel to it.
Weddings have the fantastic ability to bring everyone together and it has been so great to have our girly group finally reunited again. The feeling of having all my friends around me celebrating one of our closest friend’s special day is just incredible. We ate, laughed, danced, drank until we were completely buggered. And that, is what a wedding is all about.
I want to wish Chrissy and Jason all the happiness in world and to have an amazing two months honeymoon in Europe.
