I am so so happy about my purchases at Chadstone Target this month. Women’s fashion have improved heaps at Target and I’m genuinely surprised by the huge range of women’s clothing available at the moment. You can find really basic tees and jeans from the Target Essentials range to cute party dresses and tops in their City Dressing range.
This month I’ve picked this really cute polka dots top and I’ve been wearing this top EVERYWHERE. I wore it to work, out shopping and also to dinner. It is just so so versatile! It can be worn with a black skirt or black pants and you can really just dress it up or down depending on your mood. Whilst strolling in Chadstone Target, I also came across these white Target Ladies Designers Robert Cavalli shorts that are now on sale for $16.88! I simply adore the animal print stripe. It is so subtle but makes such a big impact to the whole outfit. LOVE! I’ve since tried to hunt down the black version of the shorts but unfortunately it seems to be sold out everywhere in my size. Hopefully, something similar would be available soon!
Today is my last day of work for the year! Thank goodness for that as this has been a tough and busy year for me. I’m really looking forward to all the Christmas and New Year festivities coming up! This time of year always begs the question “what will I wear to all these parties?” Last year, I picked a fun and bright coral mini dress from sass and bide but this year I decided to go with something a bit more glamourous. I wanted something elegant yet simple and minimalistic and I think this beaded trip maxi dress from Target fits the bill perfectly.
As you probably already know by now my dress sense is not what people would call fancy. I am all for simplicity but to keep things looking a bit more interesting this festive season I’ve added some gold accessories and red lippy to go with the dress.
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!! =)
Keen readers of our blog will have noticed a pretty new logo on our site. We are now official Target bloggers! Over the next few months we will be checking out pieces from their various collections, telling you our readers what we think of them, and of course how to style them.
Yesterday we got our first true taste of summer here in Melbourne – 27 degrees and sunny. The weather was too good to miss so we grabbed our gear and headed down to the beach after work. Got to love daylight saving!
I know on this blog we sometimes get carried away with showing our latest high fashion purchases, but let’s face it – Louboutins have no place on the sand. Truth be told you always need good basics, and these double waistband denim shorts by Hot Options that I picked from Target fit the bill perfectly. I am loving these shorts and can see them getting plenty of wear this summer.
Paired with a simple grey tee that I picked up during the recent Shopbop sale and my trusty black/gold Havaianas, the shorts work great and having now gone on sale they won’t break the bank either!
