Hair and Beauty – Review of the Clarisonic!

I’m generally quite a lazy person when it comes to skin care. I am also one of those people that remain quite skeptical about new beauty products that hit the market. So it wasn’t until I started hearing great things about this little wonder called the Clarisonic that I even considered buying one. These days I’m just so sick of removing make up – I go through about 5 cotton pads and my face is still not completely clean! So when one of my friends found a Scoopon deal at 30% off I couldn’t resist giving it a go!

To be honest, I’ve only used it once so far BUT it has literally blown me away and so far has lived up to the hype. I had this preconceived notion in my head that it was just some sort of rotating circular brush head that would be harsh on the face and thin my skin but it’s actually completely different! The brush head merely vibrates and there is a timer to let you know when to move on to the next area of your face. After just one wash with the Clarisonic, I then used a cotton pad to clean my face to see if there would be any remnants of makeup and my cotton pad came out as WHITE as paper! Very impressed so far! Will let you all know how it goes over the next few weeks!

Hair and Beauty – Fakie Strip Lashes

I rarely ever use false lashes as most of the time I just really can’t be bothered and it doesn’t feel comfortable on my eyes. But since getting my make up trial done for my wedding I’m really getting into false lashes! For my trial, I tried on the 120 Demi Black (first picture) which I was really happy with as it made my lashes looked really full but still natural. I’ve tried on a few other styles since then but these are still my favorite. They look a little weird and furry but they looked so good on my eyes. I’ve been trying to track them down online and found them on Madame Madeline. It is the first time I’ve purchased from the site and I bought a few pairs that are variations of the 120 Demi Black. I hope they arrive soon!
